A High Performance Directional Twin inspired by Jonas Michilot.
Jonas rides and destroys everything (which is not actually on snow a lot of the time) so this series reflects that and is VERY durable. Designed and inspired by Jonas Michilot and his love for animals.
2009/2010 Academy Team Snowboard Key Features:
Sandwich Construction - Tip to tail wood core "sandwiched" between layers of fiberglass and base material with specially formulated ABS sidewalls. Time tested performance with excellent torsional stability, edge hold, and durability.
Tip to Tail Wood Core - Lightweight Canadian aspen wood cores run for the full length of the board providing maximum strength, consistent flex patterns and ensure maximum longevity.
Carbon Cord Fiberglass Weave - Carbon fiber cords woven directly into the tri-ax fiberglass during production fuses the carbon and fiberglass as one, eliminating flat spots where traditional carbon strips begin and end. CCFW delivers a true, stiffer flex curve from tip to tail and increased memory camber.
Sintered 4000 Base - Sintered ultra high molecular weight base has excellent wax absorption, resulting in greater speeds without compromising durability, making it amazingly easy to maintain. This high-end material is the ultimate choice for the serious shredder.
