A twin shape perfect for park and all mountain riding.
This board is made to hold its flex pattern, press well on the nose and tail, and leaves you tweaking your steeze all over the mountain. The addition of poplar stringers in the aspen wood core maintains the board’s strength. The Rhythm is a durable board ready to take a beating without breaking the bank.
The REVERSE CAMBER “BDR” technology is the latest sliced bread, keeping you buttering muffins all day long and taking on jumps without washing out on the landings. The reverse camber is great for jibbers that never want to catch an edge or hang up.
“The Rhythm board is the perfect board if you like a medium flex board that you can throw most your weight into and has a lot of support with the extra width. It can also take a beating and will last for years.” – Ryan Tarbell
2010/2011 Academy Rhythm Reverse Camber Snowboard Key Features:
Sandwich Construction – Tip to tail wood core “sandwiched” between layers of fiberglass and base material with specially formulated ABS sidewalls. Time tested performance with excellent torsional stability, edge hold, and durability.
Tip to Tail Wood Core – Lightweight Canadian aspen wood cores run for the full length of the board providing maximum strength, consistent flex patterns and ensure maximum longevity. Poplar stringers through the inserts maximize strength. The full tip to tail wood core is wrapped in a bi-axial stitch fiber that lets the board hold its flex pattern and not pack out.
Extruded 2000 Base – Extruded base is excellent for belt grinding for a smooth finish as opposed to an expensive sintered stone grind with structure finish. Most snow conditions respond better to a smooth base finish. The EXT 2000 also has very good wax retention. It is also easier to repair than sintered bases, since you can fix it in your own garage with a stick of Ptex and an iron.
Reverse Flat Camber – At the center of the board, between the bindings, the board is completely flat. To the outside of the bindings there is a 1 degree progression towards the tip and tail.
