For example, a closed-cell mesh in the core provides warmth and comfort while a micro cell mesh in the sides promotes breathability and provides moisture wicking properties. In high-heat areas like your armpits, an open, macro cell mesh provides maximum ventilation so you don’t swamp out.
Taffeta Lining - Taffeta offers a crisp, high-end feel that is often woven using a mix of silk and synthetic fibers. Its unique hand feel and sheen make it ideal for printing. Like Burton linings, taffeta wicks and breathes easy to keep you dry from the inside out.
Thermacore Insulation - Low-bulk Thermacore is legendary for its ability to crank the heat without limiting mobility. Burton offers Thermacore in a variety of weights, and fine-tunes the amount of insulation in both the body and sleeves to offer levels of warmth that truly suit all riders, no matter what their climate.
