Over 15 years ago, 686 was one of the first companies to introduce recycled polyesters made from plastic bottles into their products. Since then, they’ve used multiple sustainable fabrications such as hemp and bamboo. This wasn’t enough though, so they took it a step further to create LESS of an impact on the environment. The answer that was born was the 686 Reclaim Project. Each season, first quality fabrics, trims and materials are wasted and thrown away in a landfill somewhere across the world. 686 wanted to simplify the process, so they reclaimed these new but unwanted pieces and have created a one-of-a-kind product. Their mission is to change the way you think and make you realize that old things can become new once again.
