All new for winter 2012, the Focus is a soft-flexing, true twin board. DC gave it 6mm Anti-Camber to make it playful and forgiving. Topped off with athletic inspired graphics, the Focus is the perfect board for all levels of riders.

2011-2012 DC Focus Snowboard Key Features:

-6 Anti Camber - Anti-Camber means the board is flat between the inserts and curved away from the snow outside of the inserts. DC adjusts the length of the flat spot, and the amount of Anti-Camber to determine how the board is going to perform. A long flat spot is fast and stable, while a shorter flat spot is more maneuverable. Likewise, less Anti-Camber translates to more power and drive, while more Anti-Camber makes the board more forgiving and playful. With the most Anti-Camber profile, this board delivers a fun and playful ride that lets you turn the mountain into a skate park.

Camber Core Profile - DC's Camber Core is the secret ingredient that allows DC to give their Anti-Camber boards the pop of a traditional camber board, yet remain fun and playful. This unique feature helped their boards win several awards last season, including three Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood awards. By adding a unique arch shaped profile to the wood core, the fiberglass takes on a completely new geometry, like that of a bridge. DC has integrated this arched fiberglass shape into the Anti-Camber zone to give their boards more pop and added resistance when flexing the tip and tail. This also gives their Anti-Camber boards the stability of a traditional camber deck.

Astro Core - The wood reinforced space age composite Astro Core creates a bomb-proof board that is designed to deliver freestyle performance.

64.20 Biax Laminate Fiberglass Construction - Two directions of glass fibers are woven tightly together for a forgiving and torsionally flexible ride without sacrificing strength and durability which give the rider increased board control.

Radius To Flat - The flat surface at the tip and tail of the board provides lift in powder to keep you floating in the deepest snow, while the radius blends in perfectly with the sidecut to create effortless transitions from edge to edge.

True Base Optic - DC's signature True Base is fast, durable and easy to maintain. It provides an exceptionally fast base that doesn't require frequent tuning. True Base Optic is DC's translucent version that provides the canvas for their most detailed base graphic applications.

Structurn Base Finish - DC's Structurn Base structure is scientifically proven to be a faster base in all conditions. Just how the dimples on a golf ball break tension and make it fly farther, these small dimples on the base break water tension and allow the board to glide faster, turn easier and allow you to ride longer.
