Forum Republic Snowboard Bindings - Dark Magic

John Jackson and Pete Moore have conjured up violent spirits to guide them into the future of freestyle snowboarding. Acting as their medium, the Republic evokes these spirits from a history of powerful yet flexible bindings. Dark graphics done by infamous rock-and-roll band The Bronx, as well as the new Simmer Down canting and the Good Vibes Hinge Disk, settle these violent spirits, channeling them into a nearly occult-like paranormal freestyle experience.

The 2011-2012 Forum Republic Men's Snowboard Binding key features:

Baseplate - A tech composite mix of 30% glass fibers are mixed with high-grade nylon for maximum power transfer while still providing underfoot feel and dampening. The aircraft-grade aluminum in the heelhoop is lightweight and strong while offering maximum support and toe-to-heel response.

Split Baseplate - Completely minimized to reduce the materials between the rider and board, the Split baseplate heightens board feel while allowing the board to flex naturally.

Good Vibes Hinge Disk - Providing increased board feel and control, the Hinge Disk utilizes two separate pieces that operate independently, allowing the binding to flex under foot.

Living Hinge Highback - This design creates a perfect alignment with the heelhoop, no matter what forward lean or rotation you set it at. No gaps, no pressure points, just comfort.

Brah Ankle Strap - This anatomically correct strap keeps everything stable at top speed. A 3-D spine provides natural contour and comfort, plus softer foam padding and synthetic leather add cushioned luxury.

Throwdown Toecap - Designed for complete coverage over the toeside, this molded toe strap throws down on command and cinches the boot into the heel cup for precise edge control.

Good Vibes EVA Footpad - This adjustable full-length pad protects riders from heavy impacts and minimizes chatter, while still allowing precise board feel and control.

Simmer Down Canting - The medial section of the pad is engineered with a softer EVA that is easier to compress than the firm lateral section. This difference allows the pad to cant naturally base on the amount of pressure delivered from the boot. The natural canting self adjusts to every stance position, providing a custom fit that lets every rider enjoy the benefits of a more comfortable stance position, powerful ollies and full-foot cushioning.
