The 2011-2012 Gnu Carbon Credit BTX Men's Snowboard key features:
Banana Technology - Licensed from Lib Tech, this revolutionary snowboard specific geometry makes snowboards easier to ride and more fun for all abilities of riders in all terrain. The board has rocker between your feet, and then is flat to the tips and tails. The middle of your board is brought to life while the ends become more catch-free. Turns and control are shifted from your tip and tail to your feet where your balance is centered. Bananas are easy to ride and work better everywhere and for everybody.
Magne-Traction - This replaces the conventional “two contact-point” ski theory. Lib Tech’s Magne-Traction boards have seven contact points, which is more than two! With Magne Traction when your two outside contact points lose grip, you’ve still got five more to take over. You won’t fall as much. It makes the board ride like a skateboard.
Mervin A.5 Sustainable Wood Core - Full eco farmed Aspen core combined with EISS 5 sidewalls for pop and strength.
Bi-Axial Glass - 2-way fiber glass orientation at 0/90 degrees; this glass lay-up is engineered to make the difficult easy.
