This all-terrain, all-condition ride is Never Summer's most popular and versatile model. For this season, Never Summer has modified their Custom Flight Core to reduce weight and increase pop. They've also added their Carbon VXR Laminate Technology to the SL, adding powerful edge response and control. The lightweight RDS 2 Dampening System provides the perfect balance of freeride vibration absorption and freestyle liveliness. Slightly setback for powder flotation but centered enough for spinning and carving, this one board quiver excels on hardpack, in the park, on natural features and all around freeriding. Handcrafted in Denver, Colorado, the SL has once again set the standard for all mountain freestyle performance, versatility and durability.

RC (Rocker and Camber) Technology - Unlike older generation rocker boards that perform well in powder and parks but lack stability and edgehold when riding fast, Never Summer’s RC Technology combines rocker and camber, allowing the board to destroy anything in its path, from parks to steeps, powder to high speed cruisers. This technology blends a NS custom rocker profile with separate camber areas at each end of the board, providing unmatched power and snap out of turns. This also offers better board tracking for high speed stability and massive ollies.

Vario Power Grip Sidecut - This sidecut works with Never Summer's RC Technology by adding increased edgehold precisely where it’s needed most; from 2 inches outside of each binding, inwards towards the center of the board providing added control and response in any condition.

NS Custom Flightcore - These cores fuse premium hardwood and ultra light softwood laminates together with vertical layers of elastomeric vibration dampers. These lightweight perimeter dampers actually increase vibration absorption the faster you ride while maintaining an incredible amount of snap and liveliness, providing a level of edgehold and high speed performance that only Never Summer can deliver.

Carbon VXR Laminate Technology - Dual Carbon Vs help transfer more energy to the tip, tail and the end of the effective edge without making these boards too stiff for butters and presses. This is the most versatile Carbon System for those that prefer a freestyle feel in their board whether in the park or freeriding the mountain.

RDS 2 Dampening System - This lightweight system uses three narrower laminated damping layers that provide the perfect combination of vibration absorption and stability.

STS Pretensioned and Bi-Lite Fiberglass Construction - The world’s best snowboard fiberglass, period. Never Summer’s STS Advanced fiberglass is a pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, layered laminate that has added elastomer stringers between the 0 and 90 degree glass fibers running the length of the effective edge. This produces a strong bond between the individual glass laminates giving the board unmatched strength, edge hold and performance. Bi-Lite fiberglass combines many of the strength characteristics of STS fiberglass with an ultra light glass fiber matrix. This delivers incredible freestyle and freeride performance without sacrificing durability.

Sintered P-Tex Sidewall - Unlike conventional ABS sidewalls that have a tendency to crack in colder temps, sintered p-tex sidewalls maintain their integrity at any temperature. Never Summer was the first snowboard company to use and perfect sintered p-tex sidewalls and they've never seen one crack.

Durasurf Sintered 4501 Base - This new high density base is extremely fast and will provide unmatched performance and durability, plus it’s a Never Summer exclusive.
