This flat camber all-mountain machine is built to hold up in all conditions. If you've ever seen TK ride, then you know he kills it on the jibs as well as in the backcountry. He needed a board that can do it all. The 147 and 149.5 are on point for jibbing while the larger sizes are built to handle the entire mountain and beyond in the backcountry. TK's custom V-Tech carbon lay-up promises to deliver the ultimate pop and his sintered base brings speed and durability.
"This is one of my favorite graphics I've ever had. Uncle Grumpy did the art for this board and killed it. I went with flat camber so it's good for smashin' the whole mountain and is perfect for jibbing. This board has matching bindings also, so be sure to get the bindings too." - Travis Kennedy
2011-2012 Technine Travis Kennedy T.K. Pro Snowman Men's Snowboard Key Features:
Rock Stead Flat Camber - If you want the best of both worlds then this is the camber option for you. Technine's entire team has embraced flat camber because of the benefits of heavy press-ability combined with all of the pop of a traditional camber board. Some say reverse camber should be left to powder riding and kids just learning how to press. Flat camber is for riders ready to take their freestyle and jibbing skills to the next level. Testing has also shown that flat camber is much more stable and really helps riders lock in landings and power through turns.
Power Tech Ultra Lite Core - Full tip-to-tail ultra light poplar wood core with finger joints. Reduced weight for a solid ride with lots of pop and control.
Bi-Axial Fiberglass Construction - Perfect for freestyle riding, this construction is lightweight and efficient, offering up an even flex without adding unnecessary weight.
V-Tech Carbon Taping - Running carbon in a V formation in the tip and tail of the board is all about getting that extra snap in your ollies. A smooth, even flex on the nose and tail will allow for stronger pop and smooth takeoffs when hitting jumps, as well as more stability when landing and riding out.
3-Layer Interior Rubber Dampening - Add three layers of rubber and you now have the ultimate in strength, performance and dampening. No more board chatter in high-speed situations and the ultimate feeling of cush under your feet.
Sintered Base - The P-Tex base material is ground into powder, heated, pressed and sliced into shape. Sintered bases are built with the hardcore in mind. Extremely durable and designed to hold wax longer. These bases are extra fast and built tough.
