Ride DH2 Snowboard 2013
Satisfying the constant search for a bigger high, the DH2 has got your fix. Featuring micro-rocker in the tip and tail for a hook-free ride, and a level micro-camber zone between the feet to maintain snap and amplify the pop factor, this Hybrid Twin shape is built to slay features and stomp big landings. Adding the latest in sidewall technology, the DH2 features all-new Popwallls that combine Ride's trusted Slimewall Technology with proven carbon to take response to the next level. Complete with the key ingredients that keep you coming back for more, this versatile Hybrid Twin is topped off with Ride's Membrane topsheet and Carbon Array 5.
The 2012-2013 Ride DH 2 Snowboard key features:
Hybrid Twin - Intensifies response by including a micro-camber zone between the feet. The shape is finely tuned for progressive park riding and offers the perfect performance-driven combination of rocker and camber.
Carbon Array 5 - This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then transferred to the opposing contact point for maxed out board control. Three levels of technology are available from 3, 5, to 7 rays.
Popwalls - This totally unique sidewall combines layers of Slimewall and carbon strategically placed at the inserts out to the contact points in the tip and tail on a twin and the back inserts to the contact points in the tail on a directional board. The new and exclusive tech enhances the charging rider's experience as Ride has moved the carbon pop construction to the outside edge for better stability and enhanced response.
Membrane Top sheet - Weighing less than half of traditional plastic top sheets, Membrane maintains a smooth feel by infusing urethane into fabric. Along with pushing limits in the world of lightweight, this process also allows Ride to push the boundaries when it comes to graphics by utilizing the textures and aesthetics associated with a variety of fabrics.
Hybrid Glass - Triaxial on top, biaxial on base, balanced torsion and stiffness for better response with speed.
Thin Con - Featuring tapered tips and tails, enhanced tip flex, reduced swing weight and sidewalls that run past the effective edge, Ride’s Thin Construction sets riders up for easy spins and board handling.
Cleave Edge - Nearly 50% more steel, the cleave edge provides an unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
Fusion 4000 Base - This sintered base is more durable and harder than extruded and is the fastest base material known.
