Lib Technologies Dark Series C2BTX Snowboard 2013
The Dark Series' Volcanic Organic Technormous Broknowlogy is ridden, designed and tested by Alister Shultz, Kurt Jenson and James Steinteford and is the board of choice for the Lib Tech experiMENTAL division's Apostolos "Pos" Karabotsos.
The 2012-2013 Lib Technologies Dark Series C2BTX Men's Snowboard key features:
C2 Power Banana/Camber Tech C2BTX - Lib Tech's favorite blend made for aggressive power snowboarders pushing the envelope. Rocker between your feet is blended with a radial camber to the contact points. Focuses pressure between your feet for easy turns, great edge hold on ice and a solid amount of pressure to the tip and tail for power end-to-end stability, pop and maximum control in critical situations while maintaining float.
Magne-Traction - Magne-Traction serrated edges cut into the snow like a knife giving you more edge hold and control than ever before. Magne-Traction features seven strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut. The biggest bumps are at and between your feet where your balance is centered adding maximum control and power where you need it most. The bumps outside your feet are smaller and less aggressive providing tip and tail control but maintaining freestyle freedom. One of the freestyle advantages of Magne-Traction is that the extra edge-hold you get allows you to ride your board de-tuned for the park and rails and still get great edge hold all over the mountain. Take a file around your edges so they don't hang up on park rails, boxes or ledges, and then go ride everywhere!
Columbian Gold Core - This is a wood alloy core. Experimental new dead tree with the highest compression response ever used in a snowboard. It has half the glue weight and absorbs less resin weight. This is another industry first for Lib Tech.
3-D Bamboo ORG Throttle - Lib Tech's functional 3-D rider system that features cross band wood platforms with edge-to-edge grain orientation that transfers energy directly from your feet to the power transfer internal sidewalls and out along your edges for more control, power and pop.
Power Transfer Spines - Futuristic power 90 degree pop technology from Lib Tech's world record setting skateboards. Transfer energy from your feet directly to the tip and tail. More pop through the woodshop.
Basalt/ Fiberglass Combo - Basalt is produced in a clean, pure process consisting of high heat and absent of toxic additives. Not only is it safer for humans, it's easier to recycle. Basalt fiber has strength properties much higher than fiberglass and better dampening properties for a smooth ride.
Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls - The same futuristic power 90 degree pop technology from Lib Tech's world record setting skateboards and power transfer spines, only this time they have placed it along the sidewall of the board to add board control to their sandwich construction. Stronger, more pop and more control brought to you by their woodshop.
Sintered Carbon 9991 Base - Carbon sounds tech, doesn't it? Fast base material for tech-tuning freaks. Wax required.
